Mandatory safety training

In accordance with current legislation on health and safety in the workplace, students enrolled in the first year of the Master's Degree program in Agrifood Sustainability, upon receiving the invitation via email by the relevant office, must take a dedicated and mandatory safety training, based on the risk assessment carried out by the UniPV and ATS Prevention and Protection Department. The safety training is mandatory and necessary in order to access laboratories and participate to field trips.

The mandatory safety training is delivered in e-learning ( asynchronous ) and is made up of the modules listed below:

  • GENERAL Training
  • SPECIFIC Training for LOW-Risk Activities
  • ADDITIONAL SPECIFIC  Training - Well begun is half done… Safety in Chemical and Biological Laboratories - CHEMICAL LAB
  • ADDITIONAL  SPECIFIC  Training_Well begun is half done … Safety in Chemical and Biological Laboratories - BIOLOGICAL LAB

The Mandatory Safety Training program provides for the issuance of Open Badges. It is monitored by an Academic Tutor (who can be contacted for any information and/or clarification regarding the academic assessment of the mandatory safety training program) and a Technical Tutor (who can be contacted for difficulties accessing, changing passwords...). The names of the Tutors are communicated in the invitation email that first-year students receive from the relevant office.

The mandatory safety training must be completed by the deadline indicated by the Academic Tutor. In the event of failure to meet the deadlines, for safety reasons, students will not be allowed to access the laboratories or participate in field trips.

NOTE: the certificates of each module must be sent to didattica@dsta.unipv.it

Once the mandatory safety training has been deactivated, the Academic Tutor send a detailed report to the Academic Coordinator of the Master's Degree program and to the Department Director.
